The Tower Hill Memorial, London, England. This building commemorates the sailors of the Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleets who lost their lives in World War 1. Engraved inside on bronze plaques are the names of over 12,000 men. This part of the memorial was dedicated by HM Queen Mary in 1928. The memorial is divided into two sections, this pavilion for World War 1 and a semicircle sunken garden honouring those lost in World War 2. The memorial is located on the south side of Trinity Square Gardens, just to the north of the Tower of London.
