The HMAS Sydney (II) Memorial in Geraldton, Western Australia, dedicated to the memory of the crew of
HMAS Sydney which was lost with all hands on Nov. 19, 1941 after a gun battle with the German Hilfskreuzer
Komoran. The memorial is located 271 miles southeast of where the wreck of HMAS Sydney was located in
2008.
